About Nadira
Hi! My name is Nadira, and I recently graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science. During college, I worked as a Supplemental Instructor for Organic Chemistry, where I helped students understand difficult concepts and improve their confidence in science courses.
I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn, especially in subjects like biology and chemistry that can sometimes feel intimidating at first. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through problems step by step.
Because of my background in biomedical science and tutoring, I’m very familiar with the challenges students face in science classes. I’m patient, organized, and committed to helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a better understanding of the material.
Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, understanding homework, or building stronger study habits, I’m here to help them succeed.

I’m a Biomedical Science graduate and former Supplemental Instructor for Organic Chemistry, so I’ve spent a lot of time helping students work through challenging science concepts. My goal as a tutor is to make subjects like biology and chemistry feel less overwhelming and more understandable.
When I tutor, I try to meet students where they are. Everyone learns differently, so I first try to understand what a student is struggling with and how they prefer to learn. I break down concepts step by step, use examples, and walk through practice problems together so the material starts to make sense instead of just feeling like something to memorize.
A typical lesson might start with reviewing homework questions or topics the student is confused about. Then we go through the concept together, and I guide them through practice questions so they can see how to apply what they learned. I also like to share study tips and ways to approach science classes that helped me succeed as a student.
What makes me different as a tutor is that I’ve been in the same position as the students I work with. I know how tough science classes can be, and I focus on helping students actually understand the material and build confidence in themselves.
My lessons are best for middle school, high school, and early college students who want help with biology, chemistry, or general science. I’m happy to help with homework, exam preparation, or just strengthening overall understanding of the subject.
