About Larissa
I am an experienced Steiner /Primary School teacher with diverse and unique teaching methods. I have 10 years of experience of working with children aged 6 to 16. I am able to use both alternative and traditional techniques to support students with dyslexia.
I am enthusiastic, patient and optimistic.
I am passionate about good quality education that is tailored to the needs of the child. I work creatively and imaginatively using stories and mythologies from around the world to illustrate my teaching. I believe in teaching children holistically using the head, heart and hands. I believe in a well rounded education and giving children a joy of learning, flexibility of thought and a creative outlook on life.
I am also able to teach English as a Foreign Language and can speak Spanish and Portuguese at an intermediate level.
