About Cynthia Diane

I have worked in a variety of educational settings, such as preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. In addition, I have also worked in the public setting assisting students to recover skills from head injuries, MVA, and athletic injuries.

Another important thing about me is that I am flexible regarding my rates! All the rate information is based on hourly rates, but please know that my tutoring sessions are beneficial, productive, and effective with 30 minute sessions. Please feel free to reach out to me. I am more than happy to work out session fees that will be win-wins for both of us.

About the lesson

I use a variety of instructional methods to tutor students. First, I get to know what the student's goals are. Then I customize my lessons to meet the student's goals. I also customize homework with the goal of keeping students engaged in practice that will solidify their skills. I also utilize an executive function approach so that students will be thinking about their goals and planning how they can work toward meeting their personal goals. I have over 40 years of experience that has enabled me to develop a broad scope of practice that covers many academic areas, such as language, articulation, speech, memory, study skills, oral language, written language, basic reading, and reading comprehension.
