I am an experienced Special Education teacher offering private tutoring for students in Grades 2–5. I have 2.5 years of classroom experience supporting students in reading, writing, math, and study skills through structured, individualized instruction. Originally from the UK, I have been living here for 4 years and bring a broad educational perspective to my work. I have also held an educational support role at the University of Oxford, where I further developed a clear, methodical approach to helping students make measurable progress. My tutoring is structured, explicit, and goal-focused. I break learning into clear, manageable steps and teach skills directly, with plenty of guided practice. I use repetition, visual supports, modeling, and immediate feedback to help students understand how to do something, not just what the answer is. Lessons are adjusted based on how the student responds in real time.
