About Sailor
My passion for teaching Spanish has allowed me to work with around 150 High School and College students over the past 17+ years. Throughout this journey, I have focused on helping learners improve their language skills while developing confidence and independent learning habits. Every student's success motivates me to become a better educator.
My teaching philosophy is based on personalised learning and consistent encouragement. I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing using simple explanations, practical conversations, and engaging activities. Students receive regular feedback and revision exercises that help them strengthen their understanding and achieve steady progress.
One of my most rewarding achievements has been helping many students improve their academic performance and gain confidence in speaking Spanish. Their determination and success continue to inspire my teaching approach.
I believe learning a language opens doors to new opportunities, cultures, and experiences. My goal is to create an enjoyable learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve their full potential while building lasting Spanish language skills.

My Spanish teaching approach combines engagement, structure, and adaptability to create lessons that are effective and enjoyable. I embrace Flexibility, modifying lesson content, exercises, and strategies to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals. Communication is central; I encourage conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence. A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates achievements, and fosters curiosity.
I also integrate complementary subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context and practical tools. My goal is to help students communicate effectively, gain fluency, and enjoy learning Spanish.
