About Laura
I am a Spanish translator-interpreter and I've been teaching Spanish at Heriot Watt University, in Edinburgh, for 7 months. Teaching and languages are my passions. During my Degree and Master I have studied Spanish language in depth, as it is one of the most important factors to consider for a Spanish translator, so I think that with my experience I'm more than qualified to teach Spanish as a foreign language.

I've been teaching different kind of Spanish classes at the University, but I like to focus my lessons on oral exercises in a way that my students can improve all areas of the Spanish language and feel more and more comfortable with the language.

Laura was my university mate at the faculty of Translation and Interpreting. I can definitely state that she's an amazing person to study and learn with. She has always shown herself to be a hard-working, responsible and caring person, with an eye for detail. Therefore, I am in a position to highly recommend her as a tutor, not only for her outstanding academic knowledge, but also for her personal qualities, which make the learning process pleasant and motivating.
