About Natalie
With over 10 years of teaching Spanish and a BA in Comparative Literature, I specialise in connecting language with culture. My lessons focus on the visual arts and architecture of the Spanish-speaking world. Students discuss paintings, sculptures, and buildings, learning vocabulary and cultural context at the same time.
We explore artistic movements, historical styles, and architectural terms, while also analysing cultural significance. Lessons build descriptive skills, critical thinking, and deeper appreciation for Hispanic heritage. Students actively describe, critique, and interpret works in Spanish.
