About Lyra
My teaching methodology for Singing revolves around a blend of integrity, understanding, and cultural sensitivity, ensuring a holistic and personalized learning experience for every student. I believe in building a strong foundation in vocal technique, emphasizing breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal health. Each lesson is designed to meet the unique needs of the student, whether they are beginners or advanced, and is tailored to foster their individual style and expression. I approach each student with patience and empathy, taking the time to understand their goals, challenges, and learning preferences. By creating a supportive and open environment, I encourage students to explore different genres, improving their vocal range, strength, and emotional connection to the music. I also focus on problem-solving, identifying and addressing specific vocal issues to ensure steady progress. In addition to Singing, I can offer lessons in music theory, ear training, and performance techniques. Cultural sensitivity is key in my teaching, respecting the diverse backgrounds and influences students bring to their music journey. With this approach, students not only develop their vocal skills but also gain confidence in their unique voice and artistic expression.
