About Simon
I am a teacher of English and English Literature, I began teaching in 1989. I find sharing the thrill of clear and expressive language to be mutually rewarding. I have also been an Air Force Officer and an Administrative Officer at an Australian University. I appreciate the necessity for clear and precise written expression. I have also enjoyed working with Indigenous Australia students in Remote Areas. I have also taught Classics and Ancient History in a Perth Private School. I have enjoyed a fulfilling career because I have enjoyed honing my skills in the written language. I would like to share that sense of fulfillment with my students.

I have over 20 years of experience in the reading and interpretation of texts. My lessons are guided discussions where we share the discovery of meaning and the extension of our vocabulary. I enjoy discovering the authors intent, we will journey together to understand and enjoy a text.
