Level:
Students can receive tuition from GCSE to undergraduate level. A minimum age is not required as I have a full in-date DBS, however age 12 is the minimum at which I am currently taking on new tutee's. All lessons and schemes of lessons are tailor made in advance to meet the individual learning needs of the tutee following an introductory meeting, and designed using a combination of Rosenshines principles and social constructivism to assure lessons are interesting and memorable, whilst academically rigorous and delivered in a structured format.
Experience:
Three-years in secondary education specialising in the humanities. I have designed innovative curriculums and lessons, utilising research backed approaches resulting in demonstrable improvements. I have substantial experience with both SEMH and SEND educational practices, and am skilled in nuanced and pupil specific scaffolding. I have tutored throughout my university career, beginning as a SAT tutor, and expanding now into undergraduate areas.
