About Cai
I am passionate about Mathematics and enjoy helping students develop both their understanding and confidence in the subject. As a current UK secondary school teacher, I have experience teaching students across KS3 and GCSE.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I always try to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am patient and approachable, while also making sure lessons are structured and focused on making progress.
Outside of simply improving grades, I want my students to understand the reasoning behind the mathematics and become more confident, independent problem-solvers.
I would love to help students achieve their goals, whether they are looking to catch up, prepare for their GCSEs, improve their grades, or challenge themselves.

My lessons are personalised, supportive and focused on helping students make real progress in Mathematics.
As a secondary school Maths teacher, I have experience teaching KS3 and GCSE students and supporting Year 10 and Year 11 students through targeted intervention and exam preparation.
At the beginning of our lessons, I identify the student’s strengths, areas for improvement and individual goals. We then focus on the topics that will make the biggest difference to their progress.
Lessons may include reviewing difficult concepts, addressing misconceptions, working through exam-style questions, developing problem-solving skills and improving exam technique. I always encourage students to explain their thinking so that they develop a deeper understanding rather than simply memorising methods.
I can adapt lessons for students who are struggling with Maths, students aiming to improve their GCSE grades, or students who want to be challenged and work towards the highest grades.
My aim is to make Maths clear, manageable and enjoyable, while helping students become more confident and independent learners.
