About Louisa
I love my subject and I believe it’s important for as many people as possible to enjoy all of the different elements of literacy. I absolutely love encouraging my students to think outside the box and develop their individual responses and independent thinking skills. I want to be able to teach you to be able to become a writer of exciting tales and a creator of vivid and detailed settings. I want to encourage you to bring your ideas to life. I want to encourage you to broaden your horizons by looking at a wider range of books and texts. If you are wanting to pass an exam, I want to teach you that the result is important for you, but enjoyment of the text is what will help you to get the best result you can.

I take a skills based approach to all texts and teach you how to get the most out of your texts. I can teach you how to plan and respond to both Language and Literature questions and encourage you to stretch and challenge yourself and unlock your full potential. I am warm, friendly and encouraging, and I love my subject. I would love to share my passion for English with you and get you the results you deserve at GCSE and A-Level.
