  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

My interest in science began in childhood. I was always curious about why things happen — why the sky changes colors, how the human body heals, how electricity flows, why living organisms behave differently from non-living matter. That curiosity never left me.

I pursued Zoology because I am deeply fascinated by life processes and natural phenomena. Over time, I realized that science is not just a subject — it is a way of thinking.

My journey into private tutoring began alongside my academic career. While teaching at university and later working with students globally (both onsite and online), I discovered that personalized learning creates transformation. Private tutoring allows me to identify each student's strengths, gaps, and learning style — and build their confidence step by step.

Teaching is not just my profession. It is my passion and my calling.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach a diverse range of science subjects including:

Biology (Anatomy, Physiology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Biochemistry)

Physics (Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism, Modeling Concepts)

    Chemistry

Mathematics (Algebra & Applied Mathematical Modeling)

    Statistics

Biology is my core subject as a zoologist, but my curiosity naturally connects different sciences. I enjoy helping students understand how Physics explains biological systems and how Chemistry drives life processes.

    My favorite topics to discuss:

    Human physiology and body systems

    Genetics and inheritance patterns

    Electricity and magnetic concepts

    Laboratory techniques and experimental design

    Scientific modeling and problem-solving

I especially enjoy when students ask “why” instead of just “how.”

I don’t dislike any topic, but I do believe memorization-heavy areas become difficult for students if not conceptualized properly — so I always focus on understanding before memorizing.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Yes. I had teachers who did not simply deliver lectures — they inspired curiosity.

What inspired me most was not just their knowledge, but their confidence and clarity. They made complex topics feel simple and accessible. That is something I consciously practice in my own teaching.

However, I would say nature itself has been my biggest teacher. Observing natural systems has shaped how I think, teach, and explore science.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

    A good tutor must:

    Understand before being understood

    Adapt to different learning styles

    Be patient and emotionally intelligent

    Build confidence, not pressure

    Track progress consistently

    Encourage independent thinking

    Make complex ideas simple

I don’t just teach content — I monitor understanding, track student progress, assist in homework, assignments, recitations, and create quick revision strategies before exams.

A tutor should guide students toward becoming self-learners.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

One meaningful experience in my journey was when I chose to teach kindergarten students for two years (2022–2024).

At that time, I was already teaching university-level students. But when my son joined KG, I felt a deep curiosity — how do young minds learn? How is foundational curiosity built?

Initially, the principal hesitated because of my university background. But I insisted — not for career growth, but from the heart.

That experience changed me as a teacher. Teaching young children refined my ability to simplify complex concepts. It strengthened my patience, creativity, and emotional connection with learners.

Understanding early learning psychology made me a stronger tutor for higher-level students as well.

    Curiosity has always guided me.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?

Science itself is not difficult — but misconceptions are.

One of the biggest challenges students face is fear of problem-solving in Physics and memorization pressure in Biology and Chemistry.

Another challenge is adapting to different global education boards (IGCSE, GCSE, A-levels, AP, IB, university curriculum). However, teaching students worldwide has strengthened my adaptability and curriculum awareness.

Personally, I challenge myself continuously by learning new methodologies and keeping up with evolving academic standards.

    Growth never stops.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

    My passion is curiosity.

Teaching is my platform — but curiosity is my driving force.

    I am passionate about:

    Understanding natural systems

    Exploring scientific phenomena

    Laboratory experimentation

    Conceptual modeling

    Encouraging analytical thinking

I love when a student says, “Now I understand.”

    That moment is priceless.
  • What makes you a Superprof?

What makes me a Superprof is not just my qualifications — but my versatility and dedication.

I have experience teaching onsite and remotely to students across different countries.

I teach multiple science disciplines with conceptual clarity.

I track student progress and build personalized study plans.

I help with assignments, exam preparation, and structured revision.

I combine emotional intelligence with academic rigor.

    I turn confusion into confidence.

For me, success is not just high grades — it is independent understanding.

That is what I bring to every lesson.
