About Marjana

I adopt a student-centered, interactive, and hands-on approach to tutoring, ensuring that learning is both engaging and personalized. My focus is on concept-based learning, where complex topics are broken down into clear, step-by-step explanations, enhanced by visual aids, real-world examples, and problem-solving exercises. Each lesson typically starts with a brief review, followed by an in-depth exploration of new concepts through diagrams, case studies, and interactive examples. I guide students through practical problem-solving to reinforce understanding, concluding with a Q&A session and practice assignments. What distinguishes my approach is my PhD-level expertise in sustainability and engineering, coupled with extensive teaching, research, and industry experience. With an interdisciplinary perspective, I connect scientific principles to real-world applications in climate adaptation, environmental policy, and engineering. My lessons are tailored to high school and university students, as well as professionals aiming to deepen their knowledge in these fields. Through an adaptive and supportive teaching style, I help students build confidence, critical thinking skills, and a lasting grasp of the subject matter.

About the lesson

I take a student-centered, interactive, and practical approach to tutoring, ensuring that learning is engaging, personalized, and deeply understood rather than memorized. My methodology focuses on concept-based learning, where I break down complex topics into clear, step-by-step explanations supported by visual aids, real-world applications, and problem-solving exercises. A typical lesson begins with a quick review, followed by an in-depth discussion of new concepts using diagrams, case studies, and interactive examples. I then guide students through hands-on problem-solving to reinforce learning, ending with a Q&A session and practice assignments. What sets me apart is my PhD-level expertise in sustainability and engineering, combined with years of teaching, research, and industry experience. I bring an interdisciplinary perspective, connecting scientific theories to real-world applications in climate adaptation, environmental policy, and engineering. My lessons cater to high school and university students in science, engineering, and sustainability, as well as professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge in these fields. Through an adaptive and supportive teaching style, I ensure that each student gains confidence, critical thinking skills, and a lasting understanding of the subject matter.
