About Miles
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 13+ years of teaching experience and a proven record of teaching around 150 students successfully. I work with beginners as well as advanced learners, helping them improve both technique and musical understanding.
My approach to teaching is personalized and encouraging. I tailor lessons to each student’s pace, strengths, and musical interests. I focus on building confidence while maintaining a clear learning structure.
Lessons include breath control, embouchure development, tone clarity, finger accuracy, and rhythm control. As students progress, I introduce expressive techniques such as dynamics, articulation, phrasing, and improvisation.
Along with saxophone lessons, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to strengthen overall musicianship. My aim is to help students enjoy learning while achieving meaningful musical progress.

I teach Saxophone using a structured, student-centered approach guided by Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I first assess the student’s current level and musical goals to design personalized lessons. I focus on breath control, tone clarity, articulation accuracy, finger coordination, and rhythm precision.
Open communication encourages students to ask questions and build confidence. Weekly practice assignments and measurable targets create accountability and steady progress. I monitor improvement closely and adjust lessons when necessary. Integrity ensures honest guidance and professional instruction.
Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Jazz fundamentals, Harmony basics, and Performance preparation.
