About Aidan
I'm an experienced scientist and educator who hopes to impart his knowledge on the next generation of scientists. I'm passionate about science in general and chemistry in particular, and firmly believe that a solid background of scientific knowledge and critical thought is crucial to becoming an informed citizen.

I have a PhD in inorganic chemistry with over 8 years experience teaching in a university environment, including tutorials, lab practicals and lectures.
My preferred approach is to tailor lessons to students' particular needs and desires, and to work with students to identify particular knowledge areas for improvement. I do not 'teach to the test', preferring to impart a holistic understanding of the subject matter at the appropriate level, but I will also include some exam-taking strategy if desired.
I am best suited for high school level and first year university general chemistry, as well as for advanced undergraduate inorganic and physical chemistry and structure determination courses.
