I have been teaching for over 20 years and I can support Masters and PhD students with English, Sociology, Public Health and applications of AI. I have supervised several students at PhD, Masters level. I have a friendly and collaborative style which focuses on the learning needs of my students. I have particularly excelled with students from non-traditional educational backgrounds and mature students returning to formal education. I have been praised for my warm and supportive approach which is twinned with practical step-by-step help. I have been told I am particularly good at breaking down difficult concepts into manageable ones. I’m passionate about removing the barriers to learning and equipping students with tools and skills that will enable them to learn and grow throughout their lives.
