About Hannah
Science can be challenging but also extremely rewarding once you get a grasp on the concepts. I have several years of experience teaching college level labs including dissections and experiments as well as the scientific process and principles in biology. I have a passion for environmental biology and have worked as a field researcher for five years. I look forward to helping bridge the gaps in understanding you may have so that you can enjoy the excitements of scientific discovery and the inter workings of biology.

A typical lesson with me will consist of identifying troubling concepts and building a network of understanding. Biology is all about connections so we will work to link specifics to a broader understanding. We will work to make concepts that at first seem foreign or difficult to comprehend relatable to your own unique perspective. Repetition and easy to manage drills will help boost understanding and if requested outside practice will be developed. I will use as many tools and examples from the real world as possible to make biology easy to learn!
I am able to tutor for levels ranging from elementary to introductory collegiate biology level.
