About Pamela
Hi, all! I’m a certified teacher with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and certifications in Birth–Grade 2, Grades 1–6, and Students with Disabilities. I have a strong background in literacy instruction and a passion for helping students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and engaging. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to meet individual needs while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. My goal is not only to improve reading and writing skills, but also to help students develop a lifelong love of learning.
I work with students across a range of levels—from early readers learning foundational skills to elementary and middle school students strengthening comprehension, writing, and academic confidence. I use structured, research-based teaching strategies to ensure that students make meaningful progress while staying motivated and engaged.

My tutoring approach focuses on building strong literacy skills while helping students gain confidence and independence as learners. I am a certified teacher with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and certifications in Birth–Grade 2, Grades 1–6, and Students with Disabilities, which allows me to support a wide range of learners.
I use research-based literacy instruction that focuses on phonics, reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and writing. My lessons combine direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities so students stay engaged while developing essential skills.
A typical lesson includes:
Reviewing previously learned skills
Teaching a new targeted reading or writing strategy
Guided practice working through texts or writing tasks together
Independent practice with supportive feedback
