About Dee

I qualified as a teacher (PGCE) in 2004 and have taught full-time in a variety of settings with both adults and teenagers. I have also worked in Education Management within Offender Learning and have a Diploma in teaching people with Learning Disabilities and Difficulties. My experience, qualifications, and calm manner will ensure you progress and look forward to my lessons.

About the lesson

I have a passion for teaching Maths, and I know your confidence is key to your learning effectively. It is always my fault if you do not understand, not yours. I have different methods of teaching so we will discover together which methods work best for you. I look forward to meeting you.

Dee has been an amazing online teacher who always supported me and anytime I didn’t understand anything she would go over stuff until I understood the method.
The lesson are well organised and enjoyable and Dee is very supportive and patient teacher I enjoy my lessons and she works around you and always very supportive teacher. I met Dee whilst doing Maths functional Skills. I've gone on to study Maths GCSE. Dee is a great support. Being Autistic it's hard to learn in class and keep up the pace at college. Dee is really understanding and supportive with neurodivergent people . I really love the different methods and her unique way of teaching adapting to support me. Especially with Algebra and fractions. I'm in my 3rd year of Maths GCSE I'm finally understanding challenging areas with Dee every week.
