Most of my students go on to achieve the highest grades and leave feeling confident that they have gained the tools required to learn absolutely anything - with time, consistency and patience.

Hi I'm Rachel from Blossom Tutoring,co,uk :)
I offer high quality, high value online group tuition sessions (of 2-5 students) for KS3 Science, KS4 Chemistry and A-Level Chemistry.
These are suitable for students studying for the 13+, home educated students, students in state and private schools who are currently studying Science and Chemistry and want to achieve their full potential.
Offering small group sessions allows me to keep prices extremely competitive as I believe that extra tuition should not be restrictive in price and be available for students from all financial backgrounds. There are also many benefits that arise from students learning in small groups such as confidence building and learning from collective misconceptions.
All of my lessons have been carefully adapted for online delivery and help to ensure fast progress, elevated scientific understanding and high achievement - as long as students are willing to work hard.
I absolutely love teaching Science and believe that every student, with the right support is capable of excelling academically.
A P P R O A C H
I am patient, calm and genuinely interested in helping students to understand the underlying concepts behind difficult Scientific topics.
I strongly believe in building a positive and comfortable working relationship with all of my students so that they can get the best out of the time we have together - no question is too big or too small.
I love working with students of all abilities - I ensure that individual questions are differentiated to the appropriate level for the students I am working with to guarantee ensure the appropriate level of challenge.
I always start off by identifying the common misconceptions around topics to ensure there are no gaps in understanding.
I use plenty of exam question practice from the start so that students begin to build their abilities and confidence around questions that can feel daunting.
I apply my knowledge of how to keep students engaged to ensure that topics are approached in a relatable and interesting way to help the information 'stick'.
I am always refreshing my pedagogy in order to keep my lessons as effective and engaging as possible.
Please contact me with any questions or to discuss your needs.

Rachel is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She is really good at simply explaining complex ideas - I would highly recommend her. She really helped my son in his learning.
I have worked alongside Rachel as a teacher and have found her to be incredibly knowledgeable in her subjects. She is patient and thorough in her support and is very popular with her students. Rachel has an excellent understanding of what is needed for exam success and teaches both content and exam strategy side by side. I would highly recommend her as a personal tutor.
Rachel is a very calm, organised and knowledgeable tutor and makes science interesting to learn. My son feels much more confident in his chemistry classes and his grades have improved in a short space of time thanks to Rachel's sessions. Well worth it.
Rachel is the best tutor I have had, she is patient, understanding and really good at breaking down difficult chemistry concepts into small chunks that make sense!
I didn't like chemistry when I started year 10 and struggled a lot but I got a grade 8 for my GCSE thanks to my group sessions with Rachel! Thank you for everythingView more recommendations
