I will approach teaching by asking the student what they want to achieve. Do the have a piece of software/website in mind or do they just want to cover the basics.

Excellent! From the initial contact on superprof to the initial chat with Jamie we discussed my areas of concern and what I would like him to help me with, following this we then set up a first meeting. In the first session we discussed in more length my issues and he very quickly was able to get a clear path and direction in which to help me develop my skills.
I very much look forward to going back next week to continue my development.
He discussed with me about setting a challenge for me to do before the next meeting which will make me think and keep me on my toes.
All in all a very impressive first session with Jamie.
