About Kelvin
Professional music performance student at the academy of contemporary music. Professional drummer playing in various bands and a diverse range of genres including but not limited to: Jazz, Latin jazz, jazz fusion, Prog rock, funk, soul, Drum & Bass, blues, rock n roll. Studied under great jazz drummer Darren Beckett as well as top london session drummer George Cook (who has played with the likes of Eminem and Birdy). Also Classically trained and have played flute in professional orchestra.

I structure my teaching to cater to each student according to their strengths, weaknesses and goals. Everyone is different and all students have their own way of learning. For this reason, I won't ever teach any 2 students the same way. There are however, some very important elements of drumming I will cover with every student. This includes: Technique, correct posture, grooves in contrasting genres and at the very least some basic reading and music theory skills.
Aside from that, I'm here to cater to my students and help them to achieve the level of musicianship they want.
