About Dan

I has played at some of the UK’s most prominent events, including ABODE, Dazèd, and Kaluki, gracing iconic venues like Fabric and Ministry of Sound. I also played beyond the UK, performing at world-renowned venues such as Pacha in Barcelona and Eden in Ibiza. Known for my energy and versatility, I am slowly becoming a key figure among the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming electronic music talents. In 2022, I took my career to new heights with my debut international booking at Spring Break Festival in Amsterdam. Since then, I have continued to impress, securing performances across Europe in locations such as like Ibiza, Barcelona, Serbia and Hungary, further establishing my reputation as an international artist. On the production side, my discography is steadily growing with releases on labels like FREAK, Under No Illusion, and Witty Tunes. My music has earned widespread support from industry heavyweights, including Michael Bibi, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Silvie Loto, Ramin Rezaie, Will Taylor, Syreeta, and Tomi & Kesh. With my momentum building both in the studio and behind the decks, I am firmly positioning myself as a rising star in the electronic music scene.

  • 1) When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

I caught the music bug around age 12, totally captivated by electronic gear, synths, drum machines, you name it. There was something about shaping sound from scratch that pulled me in and hasn't let go since.
  • 2) Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

Definitely! I can loop Tech House or Minimal for hours and still get hyped, especially anything from wAFF. His energy, groove, and creativity just never get old.
  • 3) Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.

I'd dive deep into music production, everything from beat creation to sound design, arrangement, and mixing. It's challenging, sure, but it's also where the magic happens. Helping someone shape raw ideas into a finished track is always exciting.
  • 4) What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

From what I know and have experienced, I'd say the piano. The coordination it demands, both hands doing different things, sometimes in completely different rhythms, is wild. Plus, it's so foundational in theory and composition that mastering it really opens musical doors.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

Consistency is everything. Repetition, putting in the hours, showing up daily, those small wins add up. You don't always see progress in the moment, but it pays off in the long run.
  • 6) Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

wAFF, Jamie Jones, and Marco Carola-absolute legends in the scene. Their styles, energy, and longevity in the game are inspiring. I'd love to pick their brains over a few drinks, just soaking up the stories, the knowledge... probably chewing their ears off until sunrise!
  • 7) Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

There was a time a few years back when DJ bookings totally dried up, months of silence. Instead of panicking, I locked in and focused on production. Next month? I landed three international gigs. That taught me to keep going, even when the momentum seems gone. The payoff often comes just after the hard part.
  • 8) What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

I bring passion, patience, and a real ear for detail. I've spent serious time honing my craft, know my way around multiple genres, and always keep the vibe open and approachable, whether someone's just starting out or deep into their musical journey.
