About Pat
I have been a primary school teacher for over 25 years, working in schools across London, and hold a Master's degree in Education. I have experience supporting children with SEND. My tutoring experience includes working with SEND pupils during lockdown and, more recently, supporting pupils with creative writing, SPaG and handwriting. I also prepared a Year 2 pupil for the 7+ entrance assessment, and he successfully started his new school in September.

My lessons are friendly, enjoyable and challenging, and meet the individual needs of each pupil. I listen carefully to both the child and their parents when planning lessons and keep a record of progress. I adapt my approach as their needs develop. My aim is to make learning fun while helping pupils build confidence and make progress.
One parent described my lessons as “educational and enjoyable”, while a 7-year-old pupil said, “Pat is always prepared!” when talking about my preparation.
