About Josephine
Hi, I'm Josephine, a Certified Primary School Teacher.
Teaching is more than just my job, it's something I genuinely enjoy. I currently teach a Year 5/6 composite class in a NSW primary school and have taught students across all primary year levels, giving me a strong understanding of how children learn and develop at every stage. I also tutor students from both public and private schools, supporting a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
I believe every child can succeed with the right support. My goal is to make learning engaging, easy to understand and enjoyable, while helping students build confidence in their abilities. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grasp a concept they once found difficult and watching their confidence grow.

My lessons are engaging, structured and tailored to each student's learning needs. I use explicit teaching, hands-on activities, guided practice and regular feedback to build confidence and achieve lasting progress. My lessons are designed for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 who need support, extension or help building confidence in English, Mathematics and Phonics. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long.
I also offer small group classes on Saturdays for $50 per student. Placement is subject to class availability and the current timetable, ensuring students are grouped appropriately based on their year level and learning needs.
