About Gemma
I am an experienced early childhood and primary teacher and have worked with many neurodiverse students both in classrooms and in tutoring settings. I have worked in mainstream as well as specialist school settings and am familiar with the NSW syllabuses as well as the Australian Curriculum. I have worked with students across Australia. I look forward to working with you and your child to achieve their learning goals.

I utilise a structured phonics approach using a mix of real and nonsense words to support students in mastering the alphabetic code to support reading.
A range of games and activities are utilised depending on students interests to support embedded understanding of new concepts. Through practiced use in many varied situations the new skills stick beyond the lesson.
