"I believe that learning the piano is a deeply personal journey that should be tailored to what you want to achieve. Whether you are aiming to ace your next classical grade exam or simply want to unwind after work with your favorite songs, I design my lessons to support your specific path. We will focus on building a strong technical foundation while keeping the process enjoyable and stress-free. In our sessions, we explore creative concepts like chord voicing and rhythmic grooves to help you understand how music is put together. We also dive into jazz improvisation and playing by ear so you can feel confident creating your own sounds without always needing sheet music.
I remember a student who wanted to pass a demanding classical exam but felt completely overwhelmed by the technical requirements. We broke the pieces down into smaller goals and combined them with fun ear-training games to rebuild her confidence. She passed with high marks because we focused on steady progress rather than cramming.
