About Caoimhe
I am a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong passion for both health and education. In addition to my academic background, I am also a certified Pilates instructor, which allows me to integrate movement and body awareness into my teaching approach. Outside of work, I’m an avid runner, and I enjoy the physical and mental challenges that running brings. This active lifestyle has taught me the importance of discipline, focus, and maintaining a healthy balance, all of which I strive to instill in my students. Whether through movement in Pilates or applying a methodical approach to studying, I’m committed to helping my students achieve their best.

As a qualified physiotherapist with a Master's in Sports and Exercise Medicine, I bring a strong academic background and a practical understanding of how to make learning both effective and engaging. I focus on creating a personalized, student-centered approach, adapting each lesson to suit individual learning styles and needs. My goal is to make challenging subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Geography more approachable and enjoyable, building both your understanding and confidence.
I use a variety of teaching techniques including interactive problem-solving, visual aids, and real-life applications of scientific concepts to make topics more relatable. I place a strong emphasis on active learning, ensuring that you are not just passively absorbing information, but also engaging with the material to deepen your understanding.
Lesson Details:
Each lesson typically lasts 45-60 minutes, allowing enough time for concept review, practice, and addressing any questions you might have. I also assign targeted homework or practice problems to reinforce what we’ve covered in class.
Qualifications and Experience:
I graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) with a degree in Physiotherapy and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports and Exercise Medicine in UCC. In addition to my academic qualifications, I have experience working in private practice, which has enhanced my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and efficiently.
