About Phoebe
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold a PhD in Physics. My passion lies in making complex concepts of space exploration and rocket propulsion accessible and exciting for learners. With years of teaching and research, I have developed a method that blends theory with practical applications. I specialise in teaching orbital mechanics, gravitational forces, reaction principles, and spacecraft design fundamentals. These topics form the backbone of space science, and I make sure students understand both the mathematics and the physical meaning behind them. I also integrate celestial mechanics to explain how bodies move and interact in space. To make lessons engaging, I use real space mission case studies and simulations. Students get the chance to see how principles of physics shape rocket trajectories, planetary orbits, and spacecraft manoeuvres. My teaching approach in Physics is nurturing, personalised, and focused on helping students truly connect with the subject. I believe physics is best learnt when theory meets practice, so I bring computational exploration into every lesson. I specialise in areas such as computer modelling in physics, data visualisation, numerical methods, and scientific programming basics. I use simple examples that grow into complex problems, so learners feel confident at each step. Simulations and visual tools are central to my teaching, making abstract concepts more concrete and engaging. I often guide learners through coding small programs that bring physics equations to life, helping them see results in real time. This method builds both intuition and technical skills. I support research assistants and nuclear enthusiasts by helping them apply computational methods to deepen their studies. Many discover how powerful simulations are for analysing systems that are too complex for pen-and-paper solutions.
