About Malvika

Hi! I’m Malvika, a Physics and Astronomy graduate with a Master’s degree and a deep love for science and learning. Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from astrophysics research to machine learning projects, but what I’ve always enjoyed most is helping others understand challenging topics in simple, relatable ways. Teaching feels natural to me—I’ve mentored university students, led tutorials, and supported peers in building their confidence with difficult subjects. I know that everyone learns differently, so I focus on adapting my style to what works best for you. Whether it’s breaking down tough maths problems, exploring how the universe works, or getting ready for exams, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I want to tutor because I believe that with the right guidance, any student can succeed—and even enjoy the process of learning. About the lesson

I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit each individual’s pace, learning style, and confidence level. I aim to make complex concepts in Maths, Physics, and Science feel intuitive and engaging by connecting theory to real-world examples—especially from astronomy and space science, which often spark curiosity and motivation. My teaching style is interactive and patient, with a strong focus on building a solid conceptual foundation before moving on to problem-solving techniques. I like to break topics down step by step, encouraging students to ask questions and think critically. I also use visual aids, simulations, and guided practice to make lessons both informative and enjoyable. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I’m flexible based on the student’s needs and focus levels. I’ve previously tutored first- and second-year university students as a Peer-to-Peer Tutor and mentored UCLA exchange students during a summer physics programme, where I led tutorials and demonstrated lab techniques. This experience has helped me work confidently with a range of learners, from secondary school up to early university level. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level students who need support in Maths, Physics, or general Science, as well as anyone preparing for university entry or looking to deepen their understanding in astrophysics-related topics.
