Hello, and welcome!

Philosophy is far more than the study of old ideas. It is the art of thinking clearly, questioning assumptions, making better decisions, and understanding ourselves more deeply. It turns insight into power.

My lessons are designed to help you develop critical thinking, powerful reasoning skills, intellectual confidence, and a deeper understanding of life's most important questions. Whether you are interested in philosophy for personal growth, academic study, writing, debate, or simply curiosity, I tailor each lesson to your goals and interests.

We live in a world shaped by rapid technological, cultural, and social change. More than ever, the ability to think independently, adapt to uncertainty, communicate clearly, and examine our beliefs is essential. Philosophy provides the tools to do exactly that.

I am originally from Canada and currently live in Colombia. For more than 8 years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds.
My teaching journey has taken me across three continents, where I have taught English, philosophy, and the art of acting to students from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds in Germany, Greece, Jordan, Canada, Tunisia, the Netherlands, and Colombia. These experiences have enriched my understanding of people, communication, and learning, allowing me to create lessons that are both intellectually stimulating and deeply personal.

About the lesson

-My teaching methods include a lot of interactivity (exercises and a lot of free-form dialogue)

-I approach subjects with flexibility but I am also organized as needed, depending on the subject
