About Shabeer
I'm a philosophy and humanities educator with over a decade of experience helping students think clearly, write effectively, and engage deeply with complex ideas. I hold a BA in Philosophy (Honors), a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne, and I'm currently completing a Master’s in Applied Islamic Ethics. I’ve taught students across high school, university, and adult levels—supporting everything from IB Theory of Knowledge and academic writing to ethical reasoning and theology/philosophy. I bring both academic rigor and a friendly, student-centered approach to every lesson, always aiming to build confidence and curiosity. I'm an MA, M.Teach qualified philosophy and humanities tutor with over 11 years of experience, currently completing a Master’s in Applied Islamic Ethics. My lessons are interactive and concept-focused, using discussion and real-world examples to deepen understanding. I teach IB, A-Level, and university students, helping with essay writing, TOK, ethics, and critical thinking. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and tailored to each student's goals and level.
