I believe effective learning happens when students understand concepts rather than simply memorize information. As a PhD in Plant Biochemistry with more than 8 years of teaching experience, I use a student-centered approach combining clear explanations, real-life examples, diagrams, interactive discussions, and practice questions.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by an explanation of the new topic in a simple and structured manner. I then use examples, questions, and problem-solving activities to strengthen understanding, followed by a short recap and practice task.
What sets me apart is my ability to simplify complex biological and biochemical concepts and adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and needs. My lessons are suitable for high-school students, AP/IB learners, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and anyone preparing for biology or biochemistry examinations.
