About Yasser
With a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Hull and a background in international curriculum development, I bring a global perspective to academic coaching. My career has taken me from mentoring at-risk youth in Manchester (M13 Project) to teaching advanced non-fiction analysis to international students in Shanghai.
Beyond the classroom, I am a Professional Muay Thai fighter. This discipline defines my teaching style: I value resilience, precision, and 'mental toughness.' I treat every student like an athlete—preparing you to perform at your absolute peak when it matters most: in the exam hall.

"I don’t just teach the syllabus; I teach the mechanics of a high-scoring essay. Many students understand the theories of Durkheim or Marx but lose marks because they can't structure an evaluative 30-mark response.
Having recently completed my PGCE at the University of Cumbria, I specialise in the 'Big Three' exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel). I focus heavily on AO3 (Evaluation and Analysis)—the skill that separates a 'B' from an 'A*'. My approach is structured, goal-oriented, and designed to build the critical thinking skills needed for both A-Levels and Undergraduate study."
