About Dhaniyah
Hi! I’m a Business Administration student at the National University of Singapore (NUS), majoring in Finance and Business Economics. I have a passion for teaching because I enjoy helping students overcome challenges and build confidence in their learning.
Over the years, I have gained experience tutoring Primary Mathematics and Secondary Science, as well as volunteering as a tutor through community service programs. I believe every student has the potential to excel with the right guidance, encouragement and learning approach.
Outside of tutoring, I actively take on leadership roles in university and community organizations, which have strengthened my communication, patience and mentoring skills. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to ask questions, improve steadily and achieve their academic goals.

Every student learns differently, and I believe tuition should be tailored to each individual’s needs. I take the time to understand my students’ strengths and areas for improvement before planning lessons that suit their learning pace.
I have over 2 years of experience teaching Secondary 2 G3 Science and currently tutor a Primary 4 Mathematics student. In addition, I volunteered as a tutor through a community service program for one year, helping children strengthen their academic foundation and confidence.
During lessons, I simplify difficult concepts using relatable examples, guided practice and exam-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions freely and create a supportive environment where mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to develop confidence, critical thinking and an interest in learning.
I also provide regular progress updates to parents and adjust my teaching methods based on each student’s progress to ensure they continue improving.
