About Salua

I studied Business Administration and later became certified as a Spanish tutor. I have 4 years of experience teaching Spanish and have taught more than 2,400 lessons to students from different countries and levels.

Besides teaching the language, I also enjoy sharing Colombian culture with my students. In some cases, I have even organized local experiences and cultural activities here in Colombia to help students practice Spanish in a more natural and immersive way.

About the lesson

My lessons are dynamic, relaxed, and focused on helping students feel comfortable and confident while learning Spanish. In one class, we work on conversation, grammar, and practical exercises to improve fluency and understanding in a natural and effective way. I also adapt each lesson to the student’s level and goals.

I met Salwa at Preply a year ago. Despite my age, she is an extremely patient person. Whenever she needs to repeat something, she does so, always with great kindness. Her classes are very dynamic and easy to understand; she has a lot of experience.
I recommend her. She's new to this platform, but she has an excellent profile on Preply, so give her a chance here and I know you won't regret it.

I have been with Salua for 2 years now learning Spanish through on-line learning. When we first started I had no knowledge, and today I am able to converse, understand, and feel confident when I visit South America. Salua has great patience, and is always well prepared. Her style, knowledge of grammar coupled with easy to understand excercise has helped me immensely. You can’t go wrong hiring Salua as your Spanish teacher. What I also have come to appreciate is her ability to easily transition from novice to more advanced Spanish learning. Ella es una excelente profesora.
