About Naomi
I am a skilled Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching and an MSc in Organic Chemistry. My teaching integrates core chemistry with forensic chemistry and toxicology. This unique approach helps students understand how chemistry is applied in crime investigations. I focus on the chemical analysis of evidence, exploring how substances are identified and interpreted in real cases. I teach drug analysis, trace evidence examination, analytical techniques for detecting poisons, and the interpretation of forensic data. My lessons include practical examples that link theory to real-world forensic applications. I work closely with students pursuing careers in forensic science, law, and public safety. This allows them to gain both strong chemical knowledge and specialized forensic skills. My method blends clear explanations, practical exercises, and targeted problem-solving. I aim to make complex concepts simple and relevant. My goal is to help students become confident, skilled chemists who can contribute meaningfully to justice. Learning with me means preparing not just for exams, but for impactful careers in science and safety.

My teaching approach focuses on making Chemistry clear, interesting, and easy to understand. I cover a wide range of topics, including AP Chemistry concepts, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, electrochemistry, and industrial chemistry. I believe strong foundations are key, so I start by explaining theories clearly and linking them to real-world examples. I use targeted drills and practice tests to improve problem-solving skills. This helps students become confident in handling complex questions under exam conditions. Experimental analysis is also a major part of my teaching, so I guide students in understanding lab techniques, data interpretation, and scientific reasoning. I emphasize active learning, encouraging questions and discussions. I provide step-by-step strategies to tackle challenging problems. My method also includes revisiting tricky topics until the student feels confident. I focus on exam preparation by simulating real test environments, helping students manage time and pressure effectively. I aim to build both knowledge and confidence. With the right practice and support, students not only understand Chemistry deeply but also excel in exams. My goal is to ensure every student feels prepared and motivated to succeed.
