About Grace
Hello! I’m Grace, a Data Science for Business master’s student at The Corvinus University of Budapest and recent graduate from Northern Arizona University, where I studied Interdisciplinary Mathematics and Business Economics. When I’m not helping my students, you’ll find me studying at the library, exploring Europe with friends and family, cooking a new dish, or playing the piano! My passion for math and teaching began early, and has only grown stronger over the years; I helped my younger sister with homework at age seven, helped friends in middle school, and was later asked to tutor peers and their siblings during high school!
I have over two years of professional tutoring experience and have helped over 40 students from elementary to university level go from failing to obtaining A and B-level course and exam grades! I specialize in 6th grade to early university mathematics, as well as standardized testing.

My teaching approach involves consistent adjustment of lesson plans, brief check-ins with students and parents about their goals and progress, and sustaining a comfortable and effective learning environment. Throughout my education, I learned best from people who I felt were collaborators rather than just my instructors - I’ve adopted this as my tutoring philosophy, and approach each session as a knowledgeable peer dedicated to student success!
