Hello, my name is Jayamali, and I am a Maths tutor with over 15 years of experience.
I enjoy helping students understand Maths in a clear, calm, and supportive way.
I believe everyone can do well in Maths with the right explanation and enough practice. I focus on building strong basics, improving confidence, and helping students feel comfortable asking questions.

I am a trained and experienced school Mathematics teacher with a strong teaching background in my home country, as well as tutoring experience both abroad and in the UK. My teaching style is student-focused, with an ability to identify each learner’s current level and tailor lessons to meet their individual needs.
I specialise in preparing students for 11+ entrance exams and GCSE Mathematics, ensuring they gain confidence, accuracy, and a solid understanding of key topics. I provide clear explanations, structured lessons, and plenty of practice with standard exam-style questions.
To support steady progress, I give regular assessments, set structured homework, and track performance carefully. This ensures students strengthen their problem-solving skills and develop exam techniques, while also building long-term mathematical confidence.
With patience, encouragement, and a focus on practice, I aim to help every student achieve their best possible results.
