With a strong background in teaching Mathematics to Years 7–11, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson. Over the past four years, I have successfully prepared students for GCSEs, helping them gain not only higher grades but also a lasting confidence in their abilities. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and encouraging active problem-solving. I use real-life examples, visual aids, and exam-style practice to build both understanding and confidence. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, identifying gaps in knowledge and strengthening weaker areas while stretching their abilities. A typical lesson lasts 45 minutes, structured to include a short review of previous learning, introduction of new material, guided practice, and independent application. I regularly check understanding through questioning and feedback, adjusting the pace accordingly. I have four years of experience teaching Mathematics to students in Years 7–11, with proven success in preparing learners—particularly girls—for GCSE exams. Many of my students have exceeded their target grades through my personalised and supportive approach. My lessons are designed for secondary school students aged 11–16, from Key Stage 3 to GCSE level, whether they need help catching up, building confidence, or aiming for top grades.
