About Oliver
Hi, I'm Ollie. I'm passionate about tutoring, with a BSc (first-class honours) from the University of Warwick in Maths and Physics and an MA (distinction) from the Courtauld Institute of Art in Art History. When I’m not teaching, I work in the art world and my research has been published in academic journals. I travel often to visit museums and galleries. Building on my past teaching experience, my approach focuses on making complex concepts simple and engaging. I know that the sciences aren't always everyone's favourite subjects and my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that learning should be both accessible and enjoyable. Whether you’re grappling with algebra, calculus, or physics principles I'm here to guide you through each step, ensuring you gain both confidence and competence. My teaching specialisation is for the GCSE and earlier levels. Our sessions will be customised to fit your unique goals and aligned with your exam board’s requirements. At the start, we’ll complete a few exercises to gauge your current understanding. Based on that assessment, I’ll develop a personalised course tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll reinforce the concepts you’re already comfortable with and address the areas where you need more practice.
