About Max

I am a recent graduate and experienced professional with an MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Aerospace with Distinction from the University of Strathclyde where I also held a funded research position. I also hold an MSc in Advanced Physics with Distinction where I focused on computational physics equipping me with a comprehensive mathematical and scientific toolkit. I have worked in software, aerospace engineering, and data & AI.

Most importantly, I enjoy helping others achieve their potential and understand complex maths and physics topics, so please get in touch to see if I can help!

About the lesson

- I can provide 1-2 hour lessons, both face to face and via Zoom, covering maths, physics and astronomy at levels including National4/5, Higher, Advanced Higher and Undergraduate.

- I am a friendly and patient teacher who will adapt to the speed of learning most suited to your requirements and I make it my mission to ensure you get the most out of our lessons.

- I use an introductory call to discuss your requirements and ways of working. This can be directly with the student, a parent, or both. It is always best to get started early in the academic year, so please get in touch!

- Based Southside of Glasgow, available for reasonable travel subject to distance.

Perfect! Max is a fantastic teacher - professional, extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. I highly recommend him.
My son had lost his confidence with Advanced Maths however after only two sessions with Max I could see my sons enthusiasm and self belief had returned - all pupils need that to be able to achieve their potential. My son commented that he wished Max was his teacher in school ( many secondary teachers feel out their depth teaching the advanced course)
Another quality which stood out straight away with Max was his relatability - straight after the first session my son immediately was keen to book another.
As a parent it makes life super easy organising sessions with Max as he is flexible and most importantly reliable. I feel less stressed knowing that Max will be supporting my son with his Maths and higher Physics.
