About Ben
With over five years of teaching experience and an MMath, I bring a love for the history of mathematics into every lesson. I explore ancient civilizations’ contributions and trace the origins of famous theorems. I tell the stories behind discoveries, making math come alive. I aim to help students see the evolution of mathematical thought and understand concepts in their historical context. My teaching includes algebra, calculus, geometry, and probability, connecting ideas across centuries. Lessons are structured, with concepts introduced progressively. I encourage students to ask questions and reflect on how mathematical ideas developed. They gain appreciation for the creativity and logic behind each discovery. Lessons also include practical problem-solving and exam preparation. My goal is to make learning deep, meaningful, and inspiring. I invite students to journey through the rich history of math and explore the stories behind numbers and patterns.
