About Anelisa
As a chemical engineering student, I'm actively involved in a range of extracurricular activities both within their institution and beyond. I have a passion for netball, participating in the sport both on campus and outside.
In addition to my athletic pursuits, I hone my communication and critical thinking skills through involvement in the debate society.
To foster their love for reading and engage with others who share similar interests, this chemical engineering student is also part of the book club.
Recognizing the importance of STEM education and its potential to bring about positive change in today's society, I am involved with the STEM society. Here, I actively participate in activities, workshops, and events related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, further enhancing their knowledge and passion for their field of study.
Furthermore, I advance my leadership skills through the involvement with the student leadership academy. This academy enables them to develop and refine their leadership abilities, enhancing their ability to collaborate and make a positive impact on campus.
Taking on a vital role within the Student Representative Council (SRC), I hold the position of gender and diversity officer. In this role, I work alongside other council members to advocate for inclusivity, raise awareness about gender and diversity issues, and foster a safe and equal environment for all students.
Moreover, this chemical engineering student is also the chairperson of the house committee at Toplin Residence. In this position, they coordinate and lead various initiatives that promote a sense of community and foster a conducive living environment.
Through their extensive involvement in these extracurricular activities, this chemical engineering student not only excels academically but also develops valuable skills, expands their social network, and becomes a well-rounded individual.
