About Evelien
I am a 5th-year university physics student at the University of British Columbia, and I have tutored students in math and physics for 7+ years.
I believe that students often need some extra time to work through difficult problems or concepts. With the patience, guidance and encouragement I provide, I have seen my students gain clarity and excel in their courses.

I take my time to explain difficult concepts to students and instill confidence with practice and patience.
The courses I tutor include:
- Math 10/20/30/31, Science 10, Physics 20/30, Chemistry 20/30 for AB curriculum.
- Math 10/11/12, Physics 11/12, Chemistry 11/12 for BC curriculum.
- Any junior-high level math or science course.
My sessions are flexible and completely depend on what you need! This can include help with homework, studying for a test, or reviewing difficult problems. I can also offer personalized lessons and worksheets.
