About Sky
I am an experienced high school math teacher with a Master’s degree in education and a strong commitment to helping students succeed in Algebra I, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. Every day in my classroom, I work with students of varying ability levels, which has strengthened my ability to quickly identify learning gaps and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
In addition to my Master’s degree, I am continuing my professional growth through advanced studies in educational technology and plan to pursue a doctoral degree in education. I believe great teaching requires both expertise and adaptability, and I intentionally refine my approach to support today’s learners.
I am passionate about helping students move beyond memorization to true mathematical understanding. My goal is not only improved grades, but increased confidence and independent problem-solving skills that extend beyond one course.

As a Master’s-level high school math teacher, I provide structured, strategic instruction designed to build deep conceptual understanding — not just short-term homework completion.
I begin by identifying specific gaps in foundational skills and misconceptions that may be preventing success. From there, I create targeted lessons that break down Algebra I, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus concepts into clear, logical steps. Students learn not only how to solve problems, but why the math works.
My instruction emphasizes:
