Teaching Method and Techniques:
I believe in a student-centered approach to teaching, where lessons are tailored to meet each student's unique needs and learning style. My methods include interactive and engaging activities that make learning English enjoyable and effective. I incorporate a mix of reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises, and use real-life examples to make concepts relatable. I also utilize multimedia resources such as videos, podcasts, and online articles to enhance the learning experience.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes):
Start with a brief conversation or ice-breaker activity to get the student comfortable and engaged.
Review (10 minutes):
Go over the previous lesson's material and address any questions or difficulties.
Introduction of New Material (20 minutes):
Introduce new vocabulary, grammar points, or reading materials.
Use interactive activities, such as role-plays or discussions, to practice the new material.
Practice (20 minutes):
Engage in exercises that reinforce the new material. This could include writing assignments, speaking exercises, or reading comprehension tasks.
Application (15 minutes):
Apply the new knowledge to real-life scenarios. This might involve discussing a current event article, watching a video clip and summarizing it, or writing a short essay.
Review and Feedback (5-10 minutes):
Summarize the lesson, address any remaining questions, and provide constructive feedback.
