Hi, I’m Doris! I’ve always loved languages and cultures, and Mandarin has been my passion for years. I love teaching because it’s amazing to see students grow, gain confidence, and even start enjoying Mandarin more than they expected. My goal is to make every lesson fun, meaningful, and full of curiosity—so students not only learn the language, but also discover the culture behind it.

With a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, plus years of experience teaching in China and New Zealand, I create lessons that are enjoyable and effective. My classes are perfect for beginners, kids, and adults who want to speak confidently, understand the language, and explore Chinese culture. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, so you can always learn at your own pace while having fun!
