About Barrington
My interest in languages started decades ago in High School when, at varying times and levels, I read English, Latin, Spanish, and French. When I entered University, I decided to major in Spanish and minor in French and Linguistics. My career as a High School teacher of Spanish has been equally rewarding. It is especially satisfying when students have grasped a foreign language and linguistic concepts that I am imparting to them.

I usually focus on the 4 pronged approach to effective language learning: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
I ensure that classes are geared towards the achievement-level of the learner as well as the desired outcome. My philosophy is that individualized consideration must be given to the student's level, be it Beginners, Intermediate or advanced.
